EASTHAM BOARD OF ASSESSORS
Minutes of October 19, 2009 Meeting
Meeting convened at 4:45 p.m.
Present: Assessors Sette, Avery, and Fagan, and Deputy Assessor Gail Fitzback
- The Board voted to accept the minutes of the October 13, 2009 meeting.
- Gail Fitzback reviewed the various options which will be presented to the Board of Selectmen at the Classification Hearing at 5:10 on October 19, 2009 for Fiscal Year 2010. The Board of Assessors voted unanimously to make the following recommendations to the Board of Selectmen:
- The adoption of a residential factor of 1 (one) which sets a single tax rate for both residential and commercial.
- Not to grant a discount to Open Space.
- Not to grant a residential exemption.
- Not to grant a small commercial exemption.
- The meeting adjourned at 5:00 p.m. and the Board convened to join the meeting of the Board of Selectmen.
